BJP Organizes Workers’ Meet and Dahi Chuda Bhoj on Makar Sankranti in Patna
Patna: On the auspicious occasion of Makar Sankranti, the BJP organized a workers’ meet and Dahi Chuda Bhoj at the party’s State Office in Patna. The event saw participation from leaders, workers, and supporters from all districts of the state, with leaders of NDA constituent parties also attending the celebration. The program commenced with State President and Bihar Revenue and Land Reforms Minister Dr. Dilip Jaiswal lighting the lamp to mark the beginning of the festivities.
Dr. Jaiswal, while addressing the gathering, emphasized that Makar Sankranti is a festival of generosity, charity, and religious devotion. He described it as an important and auspicious occasion in Hinduism, marking the Sun’s entry into Capricorn. He further mentioned that for an agriculture-based society like India, the festival signifies the start of new crops, symbolizing a time of growth and renewal. He wished for health, prosperity, and happiness for the people of the state and the country, hoping that the festival would add sweetness to their lives.
The event saw enthusiastic participation from BJP workers, who gathered at the State Office premises to enjoy the Dahi Chuda feast. The occasion was also attended by Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary, Vijay Kumar Sinha, Assembly Speaker Nand Kishore Yadav, JDU State President Umesh Singh Kushwaha, and Ministers Mangal Pandey, Prem Kumar, Nand Kishore Yadav, Awadhesh Narayan Singh, Nitin Naveen, Neeraj Singh Bablu, Hari Sahni, and MLA Sanjay Saraogi.
BJP Kisan Morcha State President Manoj Kumar Singh also spoke at the event, acknowledging Dr. Dilip Jaiswal’s leadership in organizing the Makar Sankranti celebration. He described the event as special and mentioned that it marked the beginning of auspicious days. He also pointed out that the upcoming Assembly elections would add further significance to this occasion. Singh confirmed that the event was attended by state officials, senior leaders, coordinators, and workers of the party from all fronts and cells.
Other notable attendees included Regional Organization General Secretary Nagendra Nath Tiwari, Organization General Secretary Bhikhu Bhai Dalsania, Kisan Morcha General Secretary Ratnesh Singh, Krishna Kumar, and various officials of the Kisan Morcha.
