BJP to Organize Caste Conferences Across Bihar Ahead of Elections, Launches Tiranga Yatra Campaign

Patna: In preparation for the upcoming assembly elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has announced plans to organize caste-based conferences in all 243 assembly constituencies across Bihar. The decision, made during a meeting at the state headquarters on Saturday, aims to engage local communities and emphasize the development work carried out by the Nitish Kumar government. The conferences will be led by BJP leaders belonging to the respective castes, who will gather their communities at the local level.
The primary focus of these conferences will be to inform attendees about the government’s contributions to their respective communities, detailing both direct and indirect benefits from various policies and decisions. This strategy is part of the BJP’s broader campaign to solidify its position ahead of the state elections, highlighting caste mobilization as a crucial element in their outreach efforts.
State President Dr. Dilip Jaiswal chaired the high-level meeting, with notable figures such as Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary and regional organization leaders Nagendraji and Bhikhubhai Dalsania also in attendance. The party leadership stressed the importance of focusing on caste-based initiatives alongside development works, urging local leaders to mobilize their constituencies effectively. In a bid to leave no room for opposition influence, the BJP is determined to present its development agenda while strengthening its caste-based support network.
In a separate initiative, the BJP has also planned a state-wide Tiranga Yatra to showcase the bravery of the Indian Army, particularly in light of the recent tensions with Pakistan. The campaign, which will span across all assembly constituencies, is designed to honor the contributions of key national figures such as Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, and National Security Advisor Ajit Doval. The party has emphasized that the success of the campaign will rely on the participation of local workers and citizens.
