BJP Witnesses Surge as 21,000 Yaduvanshis Rally Behind the Party in Patna
Patna: Approximately 21,000 individuals from various districts of Bihar joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) during the Yaduvanshi Samaj Samagam held at the Bapu Sabhagar in Patna, coinciding with the celebration of Govardhan Puja on Tuesday.
The Bapu Sabhagar complex witnessed an overwhelming turnout, with the State President of BJP, Samrat Chaudhary, extending a warm welcome to the new members. Chaudhary declared that the Yaduvanshi community would now collectively strive to overthrow the government in Bihar, drawing parallels with the mythical figures of Ravana and Kansa.
In his address to the attendees, Chaudhary drew inspiration from Lord Krishna’s act of protecting the people by lifting the Govardhan mountain. He emphasized the need for facilities and smooth celebrations of Chhath, while also targeting Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on issues such as the liquor ban.
Chaudhary criticized Nitish’s tenure, alleging that the liquor ban had failed, leading to an increase in home delivery services. He accused the Chief Minister of fostering a state dominated by mafias and criminals, urging the people to support the BJP to bring about change.
Highlighting the national achievements under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, Chaudhary urged the new members to contribute to the party’s goal of securing all 40 seats in the state during the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
Union Minister of State for Home Nityanand Rai addressed the gathering, equating the political scenario in Bihar to the disrobing of Draupadi. Rai questioned deputy chief minister Tejashwi Prasad Yadav’s actions and accused him of supporting unrighteousness, declaring that the Yaduvanshi community would not forgive such transgressions.
The event saw the participation of notable BJP leaders, including former Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad, Ram Kripal Yadav, Nand Kishore Yadav, Prem Kumar, Syed Shahnawaz Hussain, and MLC Naval Kishore Yadav.
With this surge in membership, the BJP aims to consolidate support in Bihar, presenting a united front against the current government and positioning itself as the party of choice for the Yaduvanshi community.
