BPSC 70th Admit Card to be Released Next Week, Exam Scheduled for December 13

Patna: The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has announced that the admit card for the 70th Integrated Combined Preliminary Competitive Examination will be released next week. The exam is scheduled for December 13, and preparations to finalise examination centres across 26 districts are ongoing. With a large number of applicants, additional districts may be added to the list of centres.

This examination marks the largest vacancy announced by BPSC, with 2,035 posts to be filled. Approximately six lakh candidates have applied, making it one of the most competitive exams conducted by the commission. The exam will take place in multiple districts, and candidates are urged to stay updated on admit card releases.

The implementation of normalisation in the examination has sparked criticism. BPSC Chairman earlier confirmed that the 70th PT exam would feature four different sets of questions, each with unique colours, and results will be declared using the normalization process. However, this decision has faced backlash from candidates. Dilip Kumar, President of Bihar Chhatra Ekta Manch, has called for protests against the normalization policy, advocating for the adoption of the UPSC examination pattern instead.

Kumar criticised the lack of communication, noting the cancellation of a meeting originally planned for November 15 at Bapu Auditorium to clarify the process. He said this has left candidates in uncertainty and increased tensions among aspirants.

Despite these issues, the BPSC 70th Preliminary Examination will proceed as scheduled on December 13. Candidates are awaiting further clarification from the commission regarding the examination process and the normalization policy.
