BPSC Exams: Bihar Public Service Commission Develops New Master Database for Candidates

BPSC 69th Combined Preliminary Examination Results Announced

Patna: The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) is undertaking a major overhaul by preparing a master database for all candidates. This new system aims to consolidate candidate information and reduce irregularities, including issues such as paper leaks.

Candidates will be required to upload their educational qualifications, Aadhar card, and any reservation-related documents onto the BPSC website before the examination. Once uploaded, these documents cannot be altered. This initiative is part of a broader strategy to enhance transparency and prevent discrepancies in the examination process.

BPSC Chairman Parmar Ravi Manubhai emphasized the significance of this reform, stating, “The BPSC’s decision to create a master database is a crucial step towards curbing irregularities and ensuring the integrity of the examination process.”

The BPSC will initially input existing candidate data into the new system. An advertisement will be issued for candidates who have yet to appear for BPSC exams, instructing them to upload their documents on the BPSC site. Once uploaded, candidates will receive a unique identification number. This number will facilitate easy access and tracking of their information for all future BPSC examinations, eliminating the need to re-upload documents repeatedly.

According to Chairman Manubhai, this new system will alleviate many issues candidates face when filling out forms. “Candidates will benefit from not having to upload their educational qualifications repeatedly. The unique number assigned by BPSC will streamline the process for all future exams conducted by the commission,” he explained.

The BPSC is also addressing issues from the Teacher Recruitment Examination (TRE 3), where 57 cases of fraud were uncovered. These cases involved candidates taking exams on behalf of others, which were detected through biometric verification. FIRs are being filed, and legal actions are underway against those involved.

Manubhai assured that the reforms and rules implemented for TRE 3 will be applied to upcoming examinations to prevent further irregularities. The commission is committed to improving the examination process to ensure fairness and integrity.
