BPSC Opens 26 Clerk Posts as Exam Dates Reshuffled for Lakhs of Aspirants

BPSC has released 26 new clerk vacancies and changed dates for its major exams, affecting many candidates in Bihar

Patna: The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has given good news to job seekers by announcing 26 new clerk posts in its own office. The commission released the notification on Friday, saying that these are lower class clerk posts in the clerical category. People who are interested can apply from 8 July onwards, and the last date to apply is 29 July. All details are available on BPSC’s official website, www.bpsc.bihar.gov.in.

Along with this recruitment, BPSC has also announced that the preliminary exam for these clerk posts is expected on 20 September. Many candidates in Bihar are preparing for government jobs like these because they offer secure salaries and stable careers. This recruitment will help fill vacant posts in the commission’s office and speed up work there.

In another important update, BPSC has changed the dates for its 71st preliminary exam. Earlier it was going to be held on 10 September, but now it will be on 13 September. Due to this change, the Assistant Branch Officer exam which was scheduled for 13 September will now happen on 10 September instead.

The 71st preliminary exam is being held to fill 1,298 posts in different departments. According to BPSC, 4,70,510 candidates have applied for this exam between 2 and 30 June. On the last date itself, 83,133 people submitted their forms. With these changes, candidates are advised to check the official website regularly for updates on their exams and application processes.
