BSRTC Adds 44 New Deluxe Buses to Fleet, Set to Launch Services this Month
Patna: The Bihar State Road Transport Corporation (BSRTC) has acquired 44 new deluxe buses, which have now arrived in Patna and completed registration. The permit process is currently underway, with plans to launch services by November.
All buses are non-air-conditioned, offering 40 seats each, aimed at providing a comfortable and affordable transport option for passengers. Eight buses each have been allocated to the Patna, Muzaffarpur, Purnia, and Darbhanga divisions, while six each have been assigned to Gaya and Bhagalpur. Once permits are issued, the buses will be ready for service across various routes.
Purchased at a cost of Rs 1.98 crore, these new buses will connect Patna to multiple destinations, including Deoghar, Valmiki Nagar, Kishanganj, Khagaria, Vaishali, Gopalganj, and Purnadham. Until the permit process is finalized, the buses are stationed at Phulwarisharif yard. The BSRTC expects that this expanded fleet will ease travel for passengers across the state.
