CBSE Initiates Digital Creative Skills Training for Teachers Under NEP Guidelines
Patna – In alignment with the directives outlined in the New Education Policy (NEP), the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has launched a comprehensive training program to enhance the digital creative skills of teachers. Recognizing the imperative to strengthen students through AI and digital literacy in schools, CBSE aims to equip educators in affiliated schools with the necessary tools and knowledge.
To facilitate this initiative, CBSE has introduced a training program accessible via a QR code sent to teachers, simplifying the registration process. The board has scheduled four online training sessions in February and an additional two in March. Circulars have been dispatched to all affiliated schools to disseminate information and encourage teacher participation.
Over the course of six days of training, teachers will receive insights into various subjects. The February sessions will focus on introducing creative skills, crafting instructional content, enhancing AI comprehension, integrating daily classroom curriculum, and creating illustrations through audio and video storytelling.
In March, the training program on March 7 will delve into graphics and portfolio presentation, providing teachers with valuable insights. The concluding session on March 14 will cover video storytelling and webpage magic, enhancing the educators’ digital skill set.
CBSE has extended its support to teachers involved in board exams by offering them the opportunity to participate in the training sessions through the Teacher Skill Education Department’s YouTube channel. Furthermore, a dedicated website sent by CBSE allows teachers to pose questions and seek clarification related to the program.
