Chief Minister Inaugurates and Lays Foundation Stones for Multiple Projects in Jehanabad District

Patna: Chief Minister Nitish Kumar inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for numerous projects worth Rs 122 crore in Jehanabad district. Through a remote unveiling ceremony, he inaugurated projects amounting to Rs 57 crore and laid the foundation for schemes worth Rs 65 crore across various departments.
During his journey from Patna to Jehanabad, the Chief Minister inspected the under-construction Patna-Gaya-Dobhi road, connecting NH-30 and NH-83. He directed the completion of the remaining work within two months, emphasizing the reduction in travel time between Patna and Jharkhand once the road is fully operational.
In Jehanabad, the Chief Minister also reviewed the progress of the ROB on NH-83 and inaugurated the Kalpa Panchayat Government Building in Kalpa village. He inspected the building’s facilities and attended a program where he unveiled several other development schemes through remote access.
Additionally, Nitish Kumar inaugurated a Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe and Women Police Station in Jehanabad, built at a cost of Rs 4.70 crore. He also laid the foundation stone for 11 police infrastructure projects. The Chief Minister distributed cheques to beneficiaries of various schemes and inspected local development works, including the renovation of a pond in Kalpa village.
