CIMP and Extra-C host Bihar Open Quiz Contest on Gandhi Jayanti in Patna

Patna: Chandragupt Institute of Management Patna (CIMP) and Extra-C organized the Bihar Open Quiz Contest at the CIMP campus on Gandhi Jayanti. The event saw participation from 87 teams, comprising 261 participants. Renowned quizmaster Ochintya Sharma conducted the quiz, with notable guests including Vivek Kumar Singh, Chairman of RERA, Prof. (Dr.) Rana Singh, Director of CIMP, and Kumod Kumar, Chief Administrative Officer of CIMP.
The first prize of Rs. 25,000 was awarded to Team Agatha Quiztee, consisting of Saransh Mohapatra, Vivek Singh, and Samiran Mondal. Team Mokama Passengers, featuring Piyush Kedia (IIM Calcutta) and Baneswar Sarkar (IIT Kharagpur), secured the second prize of Rs. 20,000, while Team 3 Idiots from St. Karen’s High School, Patna, took home Rs. 15,000 for third place.
In the school category, Team Prinar from DPS Patna won first prize, followed by Team Quiz Gangsters from St. Xavier’s High School and Team Gandhian Gangsters from Don Bosco Academy. The college category saw Team Scalpel Squad from IGIMS Patna winning first place, with Team Litti Legions from LNMI Patna and Team CIMP securing second and third place, respectively.
Prof. (Dr.) Rana Singh, Director of CIMP, expressed pride in hosting the event, emphasizing how it showcased the intellectual capabilities of the youth while promoting problem-solving and decision-making skills.
