CIMP to Host First National Conference on Agriculture, Technology, and Management in Patna

Patna: The Chandragupt Institute of Management Patna (CIMP) will host the inaugural National Conference on Agriculture, Technology, and Management (NCATM 2024) on November 15, 2024. As a designated Lead Knowledge Institution (LKI) by Niti Aayog under the State Support Mission Scheme, CIMP is partnering with the Department of Planning and Development, Government of Bihar, to organise this landmark event.
The conference will be graced by the Principal Secretary of the Planning and Development Department as the Chief Guest, with the Special Secretary of the Department of Agriculture serving as the Guest of Honor. Dr. Anup Das, Director of the ICAR Research Complex for Eastern Region in Patna, will deliver the keynote address.
NCATM 2024 has garnered significant academic interest, with 79 research papers submitted by scholars from across the country. Of these, 44 papers have been selected for presentation, covering important topics such as sustainable farm technology, agri-entrepreneurship, agri-financing, rural development, and innovations in agriculture and allied sectors.
This conference represents a significant milestone in advancing agriculture-focused research and fostering knowledge-sharing in Bihar. It aims to drive innovations that support rural development and sustainable farming practices. CIMP’s role as the LKI reflects its commitment to leading research and policy support initiatives aimed at enhancing the region’s agriculture and rural economy.
