Cleanliness Drive at Sanjay Gandhi Biological Park Marks “Swachhata Hi Seva” Campaign

Patna: A cleanliness drive was conducted at Sanjay Gandhi Biological Park, Patna, as part of the “Swachhata Hi Seva” campaign. The event was inaugurated by Dr. Prem Kumar, Minister of the Department of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Government of Bihar. He unveiled a digital display near the park’s entrance gate no. 2 and initiated the cleanliness program near the lake, emphasizing the importance of cleanliness to the public.
The drive saw the participation of several key figures including Abhay Kumar, Director of Ecology and Environment, Patna; Satyajit Kumar, Director of Sanjay Gandhi Biological Park; Shashi Bhushan Prasad, Deputy Director of Patna Zoo; Anand Kumar, Field Officer of Forests, Animal Farm; Arvind Kumar Verma, Field Officer of Forests, Botanical Farm; and Arif, Zoo-Biologist. They were joined by zoo-workers and zoo-ambassadors, all actively engaging in the cleanliness campaign.
This initiative underscores the commitment to maintaining environmental cleanliness and fostering a cleaner, healthier environment for the community. The campaign reflects ongoing efforts to promote cleanliness and environmental stewardship within the region.
