CPI-ML MLAs to March to Raj Bhavan Today, Prashant Kishor Meets BPSC Candidates Late Monday Night
Patna: The protest by candidates calling for the cancellation of the 70th BPSC Preliminary Exam continues to intensify, now in its 14th day. In response to the recent lathi charge on protesters and growing opposition to the exam’s cancellation, CPI(ML) MLAs have announced plans for a march to the Raj Bhavan today.
On Monday night, Prashant Kishor, the founder of Jan Suraj party, visited the protesters at the dharna site in Gardanibagh. He spent over two hours with the candidates, offering his support and engaging in discussions about their demands.
Earlier in the day, an 11-member delegation of the protesting candidates met with Chief Secretary Amrit Lal Meena. Following the meeting, the delegation expressed that they had presented their demands, and Meena assured them that the government would take appropriate action.
Despite this, the protesters have made it clear that they will continue their demonstration until a re-examination is announced.
