Hajipur: The Institute of Hotel Management, Hajipur, hosted “Cuisine Conquest,” a mega culinary competition that brought together the institution’s budding chefs in a display of gastronomic prowess. The event saw students competing in teams of two, with participants from all semesters and the food production diploma program pairing up.

A total of 90 students formed 45 teams, making it one of the most successful events in recent times at IHM, Hajipur. The competition’s format required participants to choose a cuisine of their comfort and craft a main course with accompaniment, along with a dessert. Judges evaluated the dishes based on presentation, taste, and culinary skill, with participants given two hours to finish and present their creations.

The dishes created by the participants represented a global culinary journey, featuring flavors from Chinese, Indian, French, and more. The high-quality preparation made the task challenging for the experienced judging panel.
