Banka: The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) is set to commence the annual D.El.Ed. (Diploma in Elementary Education) examinations from Monday, with over 700 candidates expected to appear across two designated centres in the state capital.
The examination will be conducted at RMK Inter School and Sarvodayanagar Sarvajanik Inter School. Officials confirmed that all logistical and administrative preparations were finalised on Sunday, with centre superintendents coordinating efforts alongside support staff.
In a bid to ensure smooth conduct and eliminate any scope for malpractice, comprehensive briefing sessions were held for invigilators. The BSEB has also issued strict guidelines regarding candidate entry and dress code, with security personnel instructed to enforce them rigorously.
Candidates will be permitted entry only until 9:00 am for the first shift, which begins at 9:30 am. Entry for the second shift will close at 1:30 pm. Notably, the board has prohibited shoes and socks inside the centres — only candidates wearing slippers will be allowed entry, in line with anti-cheating protocols.
Dr. Rakesh Ranjan, the centre superintendent at RMK School, said preparations were completed well in advance. “Despite the summer vacation, an adequate number of invigilators have been deployed. Every effort has been made to ensure the exams are held in a malpractice-free and peaceful environment,” he said.
The BSEB has reiterated its commitment to maintaining the integrity of the examination process, with surveillance and strict guidelines in place across both venues.
