‘Dana’ Storm Effect Ends in Bihar; Cloudy Weather and Light Rain Predicted in 10 Districts

Patna: The impact of the ‘Dana’ storm has completely subsided in Bihar, with only mild weather conditions expected in the coming days. According to the Patna Meteorological Center, cloudy weather is likely to prevail today in 10 districts, including Araria, Gopalganj, Purnia, Kishanganj, Katihar, Saharsa, Supaul, Madhepura, East Champaran, and Muzaffarpur. Additionally, there is a chance of light rainfall in one or two districts.

The easterly wind in Bihar is currently moving at a normal speed, with no significant changes in the weather forecast for the next two to three days. During this period, the weather is expected to remain calm. However, after Diwali, a gradual drop in the minimum temperature is anticipated, starting from the first week of November.

The latest data from the Meteorological Center indicates that the state has received only 17 mm of rainfall so far this season, which is 66% below the normal average. In the past 24 hours, Gaya recorded the highest rainfall, while Jamui saw the least. The department has released data for seven districts regarding rainfall distribution.
