Deputy CM Vijay Sinha Meets PM Modi, Criticises Tejashwi Yadav
Patna: Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sinha met Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday, expressing gratitude for laying the foundation stone of Darbhanga AIIMS and for other development initiatives across Bihar, including infrastructure and road construction. With the establishment of Darbhanga AIIMS, Bihar becomes one of the few states with two AIIMS facilities, a development that will significantly benefit the Mithilachal and Seemanchal regions.
During the meeting, Sinha discussed the state’s preparations for the 2025 elections and briefed the PM about the success of the state-level Yuva Mahotsav. He expressed pride in Bihar’s participation in the upcoming national youth gathering in Delhi, highlighting the importance of Modi’s guidance for inspiring the state’s youth.
Sinha also confirmed his plans to accompany Chief Minister Nitish Kumar to Devendra Fadnavis’ swearing-in ceremony in Maharashtra. The BJP and its allies have secured a massive majority in Maharashtra, and Fadnavis is set to take the oath as Chief Minister for the third time.
In a sharp critique of Tejashwi Yadav, Sinha rebuked Yadav’s comments on Nitish Kumar’s Samvad Yatra, accusing him of relying solely on his parents’ political legacy. Sinha claimed Yadav’s influence has diminished, asserting that neither the “father nor mother equation” would benefit him politically in the future.
