Patna: The vibrant hues of Diwali celebrations lit up the skies over Patna as the city embraced the festival of lights with enthusiasm, with people from all walks of life joining the festivities. From political figures to the common populace, the city witnessed a fervent celebration marked by dazzling decorations on shops, buildings, and houses.

Special adornments adorned key thoroughfares, including Bailey Road, the state secretariat, Bihar Vidhan Sabha, Vishwasariya Bhawan, Patna High Court, Dak Bungalow crossing, Boring Road, and other areas. Colorful lights adorned road intersections and flyovers, enhancing the festive ambiance across the city.

In a customary gesture, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar lit diyas at his 1, Anne Marg residence. Accompanied by his son and senior officials, including his advisor, Manish Kumar Verma, the Chief Minister’s Diwali celebration conveyed a message of tradition and sustainability.
