Elephant Goes Out of Control in Saran, Damages Vehicles During Immersion Procession
Saran: An elephant in the immersion procession at Ekma, Saran, went out of control, causing chaos on the main road. The enraged elephant broke several poles, damaged two cars, and smashed three bikes. The incident triggered panic in the area, lasting for about an hour.
The elephant became aggressive after being disturbed by the noise and commotion of the crowd and nearby vehicles. Fair workers and local police quickly intervened to control the situation and manage the crowd.
With the help of the elephant’s mahout and other mahouts in the area, the elephant was eventually led to a nearby deserted garden, where it was tied to a tree and calmed down. Forest department officials arrived at the scene to assess the situation and inspect the elephant.
