Enrollment for New Session Begins at Mahavir Mandir’s Veda Vidyalaya in Patna
Patna: The Veda Vidyalaya Panini-Pragyapeetham, run by Mahavir Mandir, has started its enrollment process for the new academic session 2025-2026. The school, located in a building authorized by Mahavir Mandir in front of Danapur Subdivision Hospital, Patna, offers free food, accommodation, and education to students. The formal inauguration of the Veda Vidyalaya took place on Guru Purnima, 21st July last year.
Admissions are open for students who have passed the 5th grade, with an age limit of 13 years for enrollment. Acharya Kishore Kunal, Secretary of Mahavir Mandir Trust, shared that the Veda Vidyalaya is in the process of affiliation with the Maharishi Sandipani Ved Vidya Pratishthan, Ujjain, and students will be awarded the degrees of ‘Veda-Bhushan’ and ‘Veda-Vibhushan.’ The Vedbhushan course will last for 2 years, while the Vedvibhushan course will span a total of 7 years. Along with Vedic studies, the curriculum will also include Sanskrit grammar.
