Festive Rush: Railways To Operate Vande Bharat and Rajdhani Specials Between Patna and New Delhi
Patna: As the anticipation for the upcoming festival season heightens, railway authorities have announced the operation of Vande Bharat and Rajdhani Special Express trains between Delhi and Patna to accommodate the surge of passengers.
Notably, the 02252/02251 New Delhi-Patna-New Delhi Vande Bharat Special Express and the 02250/02249 New Delhi-Patna-New Delhi Rajdhani Festival Special Express are set to connect Patna and New Delhi, ensuring an enhanced travel experience.
The Vande Bharat Special Express is scheduled to embark on its journey from New Delhi at 7:25 am on November 11, 14 and 16. It is scheduled to pass through Kanpur Central at 12:02 pm, Prayagraj at 2:08 pm, Pt Deendayal Upadhyay Junction at 3:30 pm, Buxar at 5:15 pm, and Ara at 6:08 pm before reaching its final destination at Patna Junction at 7 pm on the same day. The return journey, Train Number- 02251 Patna-New Delhi Vande Bharat Special Express, is scheduled to depart from Patna at 7:30 am on November 12, 15 and 17. The train will stop at Ara at 8:28 am, Buxar at 9:28 am, Pt Deendayal Upadhyay Junction at 10:28 am, Prayagraj at 12:10 pm, and Kanpur Central at 2:18 pm, eventually reaching New Delhi at 7 pm on the same day. This special train will be equipped with 16 coaches of Vande Bharat.
The Rajdhani Festival Special Express, train number- 02250 New Delhi-Patna, is scheduled to commence its journey from New Delhi at 7:10 pm on November 10, 13,15 and 17. It will halt at Kanpur Central at 12:02 am, Prayagraj at 2:13 am, Pt Deendayal Upadhyay Junction at 4:30 am, Buxar at 5:45 am, and Ara at 6:35 am before concluding its route at Patna Junction at 7:30 am. The return journey, train number- 02249 Patna-New Delhi Rajdhani Festival Special Express, is scheduled to embark from Patna on November 11, 14, 16 and 18 at 9 am, making stops at Khulhar at 9:40 am, Ara at 10:30 am, Buxar at 11:37 am,, Pt Deendayal Upadhyay Junction at 1:37 pm, Prayagraj at 3:45 pm, and Kanpur Central before reaching New Delhi at 9 pm on the same day. This Rajdhani special features one coach of the first air-conditioned class, seven coaches of the second air-conditioned class, and 10 coaches of the third air-conditioned class.
