Fog Disrupts Operation of 24 East Central Railway Trains Until February
Patna: Due to dense fog, the East Central Railway has curtailed the operation of 24 trains until January and February 2024. The changes include cancellations for one to three days a week, affecting several major trains departing from Barauni Junction.
Train number 11124, the Barauni-Gwalior Mail, will not operate every Tuesday and Friday until 28 February, while train number 11123, the Gwalior-Barauni Mail, will remain cancelled every Monday and Thursday until 27 February.
Train number 12505, Kamakhya-Anand Vihar Terminal North East Express, originating from Kamakhya, will be cancelled every Sunday and Wednesday until 8 January. Correspondingly, train number 12506 Anand Vihar Terminal-Kamakhya North East Express departing from Anand Vihar Terminal will not operate every Tuesday and Friday until 10 January.
Train number 15483, the Alipurduar-Delhi Sikkim Mahananda Express, departing from Alipurduar, will not run every Wednesday and Saturday until 8 January, while its return service, train number 15484, the Delhi-Alipurduar Sikkim Mahananda Express, will be cancelled every Friday and Monday until 10 January.
Train number 12523, the New Jalpaiguri-New Delhi Express, will not operate every Tuesday until 25 February. Its return service, train number 12524 New Delhi-New Jalpaiguri Express, will remain cancelled every Wednesday until 26 February. Train number 15909, the Dibrugarh-Lalgarh Avadh Assam Express, will not run every Saturday until 22 February, and train number 15910, the Lalgarh-Dibrugarh Avadh Assam Express, will remain cancelled every Tuesday until 25 February.
Train number 13019, the Howrah-Kathgodam Bagh Express, will not operate every Sunday until 23 February, while train number 13020, the Kathgodam-Howrah Bagh Express, will remain cancelled every Tuesday until 25 February. Similarly, train number 12988 Ajmer-Sealdah Express departing from Ajmer will be cancelled every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday until 9 January, while its return train, number 12987 Sealdah-Ajmer Express, will not operate every Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday until 10 January.
Train number 22405, the Bhagalpur-Anand Vihar Terminal Garib Rath Express, will remain cancelled every Thursday until 9 January, and train number 22406, the Anand Vihar Terminal-Bhagalpur Garib Rath Express, will not run every Wednesday until 8 January.
Train number 12529 Patliputra-Lucknow Express will remain cancelled every Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday until 26 February. Its return service, train number 12530 Lucknow-Patliputra Express, will also remain cancelled on the same days until 26 February. Additionally, train number 15079 Patliputra-Gorakhpur Express will be cancelled every Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday until 28 February, and train number 15080 Gorakhpur-Patliputra Express will not operate on the same days.
Train number 15074, the Tanakpur-Singrauli Triveni Express, will not run every Wednesday until 26 February, while train number 15073, the Singrauli-Tanakpur Triveni Express, will remain cancelled every Thursday until 27 February. Train number 15076 Tanakpur-Shaktinagar Triveni Express will not operate every Tuesday and Saturday until 25 February, while its return service, train number 15075 Shaktinagar-Tanakpur Triveni Express, will be cancelled every Wednesday and Sunday until 26 February.
