Patna : Fuel prices in Patna remained largely stable on Friday, offering a measure of relief to commuters and transport operators amid fluctuating global oil markets.
The price of petrol in the city stood at Rs 105.80 per litre, reflecting a modest increase of Rs 0.22 from the previous day’s rate of Rs 105.58. Diesel was priced at Rs 92.62 per litre, marking a slight rise of Rs 0.20 compared to Rs 92.42 on Thursday.
Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) prices remained unchanged at Rs 84.54 per kilogram, continuing a stable trend that has held steady for months.
Analysts attribute the overall price stability to balanced international crude oil rates and consistent domestic demand. The steady performance of the Indian rupee against the US dollar has also helped maintain import costs.
Local fuel dealers anticipate that prices will remain within this range in the near term, barring any major global economic shifts.
