Patna: Fuel prices in Patna remained largely stable on Tuesday, continuing to provide relief to commuters and transport operators amid mixed signals from global oil markets.
The price of petrol in the city stood at Rs 105.23 per litre, showing no change from the previous day’s rate. Diesel was priced at Rs 92.09 per litre, also remaining steady compared to Monday.
Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) prices held firm at Rs 84.54 per kilogram, maintaining a stable trend that has now lasted for several months.
Industry analysts attribute the ongoing price stability to relatively steady international crude oil rates and balanced domestic fuel demand. A stable Indian rupee against the US dollar has also contributed to keeping import costs in check.
Local fuel dealers in Patna expect prices to hover around current levels in the near future, barring any sudden shifts in global oil supply or currency valuations.
