Gaya District Police Launches Free Bus Service for Late-Night Train Passengers
Gaya: In a commendable initiative by the Gaya District Police, a free bus service has been introduced for passengers arriving at Gaya Railway Station from late-night trains. The service aims to ensure the safety and convenience of travelers by transporting them to their destinations. Currently, the service operates on two key routes in the city.
The first route runs from the railway station to Manpur, while the second connects the station to Bodh Gaya. Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Ashish Bharti, along with City SP Prerna Kumar, flagged off the buses for both routes late Monday night. The initiative was proposed by SSP Ashish Bharti, who emphasized the importance of providing safe and hassle-free transport for passengers arriving after 9 PM.
SSP Ashish Bharti explained that the service has been launched specifically for the festive season, keeping in mind the increased travel during Durga Puja, Diwali, and Chhath. “Our goal is to ensure that passengers feel safe and reach their destinations without any difficulties,” he said.
