Holi Rush: Indian Railways Introduces 14 Special Trains via Patna and Pataliputra

Patna: With Holi celebrations around the corner, railway stations across the country are witnessing heavy crowds. To accommodate the increased demand, Indian Railways has announced 14 Holi special trains passing through Patna Junction and Pataliputra Station. These trains will run on various routes, ensuring smoother travel for passengers.
Special Trains Schedule
Visakhapatnam-Patna Special
- Train No. 08537 Visakhapatnam-Patna Special will depart from Visakhapatnam at 7:30 PM on March 16, 23, and 30, reaching Patna at 9:00 AM the next day.
- Train No. 08538 Patna-Visakhapatnam Special will depart from Patna at 10:30 PM on March 17, 24, and 31, arriving in Visakhapatnam at 3:50 AM on the third day.
New Delhi-Katihar Special
- Train No. 04078 New Delhi-Katihar Special will leave New Delhi at 2:45 PM on March 13, stopping at Patliputra at 7:20 AM, and reaching Katihar at 2:00 PM the next day.
- Train No. 04077 Katihar-New Delhi Special will depart Katihar at 6:45 PM on March 14, stopping at Patliputra at 12:55 AM, and reaching New Delhi at 6:00 PM the next day.
New Delhi-Kamakhya Special
- Train No. 04084 New Delhi-Kamakhya Special will leave New Delhi at 7:15 PM on March 13, stopping at Patliputra at 11:13 AM, and reaching Kamakhya at 8:30 AM on the third day.
- Train No. 04083 Kamakhya-New Delhi Special will leave Kamakhya at 4:00 PM on March 15, stopping at Patliputra at 10:03 AM, and arriving in New Delhi at 3:30 AM on the third day.
Anand Vihar-Jogbani Special
- Train No. 04080 Anand Vihar-Jogbani Special will depart Anand Vihar at 7:00 PM on March 13, stopping at Patliputra at 11:53 AM, and reaching Jogbani at 11:00 PM.
- Train No. 04079 Jogbani-Anand Vihar Special will leave Jogbani at 6:40 PM on March 15, stopping at Patliputra at 3:03 PM, and reaching Anand Vihar at 8:25 AM the next day.
Gwalior-Puri Special
- Train No. 01929 Gwalior-Puri Special will depart Gwalior at 1:00 PM on March 14, 21, and 28, stopping at DDU at 12:10 PM, and arriving in Puri at 8:15 PM the next day.
- Train No. 01930 Puri-Gwalior Special will leave Puri at 11:45 PM on March 15, 22, and 29, stopping at DDU at 7:00 PM, and reaching Gwalior at 9:25 AM on the third day.
Barauni-Udhna (Surat) Special
- Train No. 09012 Barauni-Udhna Special will depart Barauni at 10:30 PM on March 16, stopping at Patliputra at 1:35 PM, DDU at 6:20 PM, and reaching Udhna at 9:00 AM on the third day.
Muzaffarpur-Hubballi Special
- Train No. 07316 Muzaffarpur-Hubballi Special will leave Muzaffarpur at 2:15 PM on March 15, stopping at Patliputra at 4:00 PM, DDU at 7:25 PM, and reaching Hubballi at 10:30 AM on the third day.
Patna-Vasco da Gama Special
- Train No. 07312 Patna-Vasco da Gama Special will leave Patna at 5:40 AM on March 16, stopping at DDU at 8:50 AM, and reaching Vasco da Gama at 10:30 AM on the third day.
Danapur-Mysore Special
- Train No. 06212 Danapur-Mysore Special will depart Danapur at 1:05 AM on March 16, stopping at DDU at 5:00 AM, and arriving in Mysore at 3:40 AM on the third day.
