ICEFET-2024 International Conference Inaugurated at NIT Patna

Patna: The Department of Electrical Engineering, National Institute of Technology (NIT), Patna, inaugurated the three-day International Conference ICEFET-2024 in a ceremony graced by Director P.K. Jain, Chief Guest Amitava Chatterjee from Jadavpur University, Head of Department R.K. Mandal, and Conveners Mala Dey and Arunangshu Ghosh, along with other dignitaries.
Director P.K. Jain welcomed participants from across India and abroad, stressing the significance of collaborative research in emerging fields of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Conveners Mala Dey and Arunangshu Ghosh shared that the conference received 310 research paper submissions this year, with 142 selected for presentation.
In his keynote address, Chief Guest Amitava Chatterjee delivered a lecture on “Human-Robot Collaboration,” emphasizing the integration of robotics with human intelligence and its potential in Industry 5.0. He highlighted this collaboration as a transformative step for future industrial advancements.
Head of Department R.K. Mandal lauded the keynote lecture and underscored the importance of advanced robotic research and innovation at NIT Patna. He described ICEFET-2024 as an excellent platform for researchers and academicians to exchange ideas and showcase technological advancements.
The inaugural ceremony witnessed a large gathering of researchers, academicians, and students, setting the stage for an engaging and insightful conference.
