IIM Bodh Gaya's Permanent Campus to be Inaugurated by Prime Minister Modi

Bodhgaya: The permanent campus of the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Bodh Gaya is set to be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in the presence of Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary on Tuesday.

Established under the Union Ministry of Education in 2015, IIM Bodh Gaya has experienced significant growth, evolving from its inaugural batch of 30 students to an enrollment of over 1,110 students hailing from 293 cities and 26 states. The institute has upheld a steadfast commitment to academic excellence and inclusive learning, with female students constituting more than 31.67% of the student body.

The campus boasts state-of-the-art smart classrooms, meticulously designed to offer a future-ready learning experience. The library, dubbed ‘Pragyata,’ serves as a nucleus of knowledge, seamlessly managing extensive resources through Open Source Software. Beyond academic amenities, the campus features a sports complex complete with modern gym facilities and provisions for badminton, basketball, football, and cricket, enriching the student experience with a vibrant sporting culture. The hostel prioritizes holistic well-being, emphasizing millet-based cuisine for healthy living. Furthermore, the campus encompasses a medical center and four towers dedicated to faculty and staff residences.

IIM Bodh Gaya extends its societal impact through various endeavors, including Management Development Programs (MDPs) and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives. The institute has played a pivotal role in training over 3000 micro-entrepreneurs, aligning with the vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat. Additionally, nearly 2000 administrative officers, spanning from police personnel to individuals from esteemed institutions like the Bihar Police Academy and BIPARD, have undergone training programs, underscoring IIM Bodh Gaya’s dedication to administrative excellence and fostering a spirit of Jan Seva Bhav (public service ethos).
