
Patna: The Indian Army will conduct a large-scale recruitment rally at the New KLP Ground, Chandmari, Danapur Cantonment, tentatively from August 5 to 15. The rally, organized by the Recruiting Office (Headquarters), Danapur, is aimed at selecting Agniveer male candidates from seven districts of Bihar—Patna, Buxar, Bhojpur, Siwan, Saran, Gopalganj, and Vaishali—as well as candidates from Bihar and Jharkhand for Soldier Technical Nursing Assistant and Sepoy Pharma categories.
This initiative is part of the Indian Army’s continued effort to tap into the potential of young aspirants who seek a disciplined, adventurous, and service-oriented career. The rally will include recruitment for several Agniveer categories, including General Duty, Technical, Clerk/Store Keeper Technical, and Tradesmen (Class 10 and 8).
The recruitment rally is expected to draw a high number of enthusiastic participants, driven by the desire to serve the country and contribute to nation-building. A coordination conference was held on Friday to ensure all arrangements are in place for a smooth and efficient recruitment process.
The meeting was co-chaired by Colonel Bindu Agnihotri, Director of Recruiting, and District Magistrate Chandrashekhar Singh, along with SDM Danapur Divya Shakti and SP (Patna West) Sarath. The officials discussed key logistics including crowd management, first aid facilities, weather-related contingencies, and the provision of necessary infrastructure at the rally site.
Speaking on the occasion, officials reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining the highest standards of integrity and transparency during the recruitment drive. The event is being hailed as a significant milestone in fostering the spirit of national service among the youth of Bihar and Jharkhand.
