IRCTC to Launch Bharat Gaurav Train for 12 Jyotirlinga Pilgrimage

Patna : The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) is set to launch the Bharat Gaurav Train from March 27,offering pilgrims a journey across 12 Jyotirlingas and key religious sites in South India. The special train, designed for an 11-night, 12-day trip, will depart from Bettiah station at 7 am.
Announcing the initiative, IRCTC Regional Manager Rajesh Kumar Sinha said the train features upgraded Linke Hofmann Busch (LHB) coaches and a modified pantry capable of preparing meals for 1,000 passengers at a time.

The train offers two fare categories: Economy at Rs22,520 per person and Comfort at Rs38,310 per person. A group booking discount of Rs750 per passenger is also available. Out of the 550 available seats, 200 remain open for booking.
Passengers can secure their tickets online through the IRCTC website or in person at the IRCTC office in Biscoman.
Route and Stops
The train will pass through multiple stations, including Bettiah, Sugauli, Raxaul, Bairgania, Sitamarhi, Darbhanga, Samastipur, Muzaffarpur, Hajipur, Pataliputra, Ara, Buxar, and Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay.
The journey concludes on April 7 after a visit to the Mallikarjuna Jyotirlinga in Srisailam.
