JD (U) Marks 20th Foundation Day with Pledge for Greater Strength

Patna: Janata Dal (United) celebrated its 20th foundation day with great fervor on Monday at the party headquarters situated on Veerchand Patel Marg in Patna. The commemorative event saw party members and leaders come together to mark this significant milestone, with festivities that included cake cutting and mutual congratulations. In the spirit of the occasion, a resolution was adopted to fortify and refine the organization further.

Umesh Singh Kushwaha, the party’s state president, expressed the importance of JD (U)’s commitment to the ideologies of revered figures such as Mahatma Gandhi, Loknayak Jaiprakash Narayan, Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar, Ram Manohar Lohia, and Jannayak Karpuri Thakur. He also emphasized the party’s dedication to translating these visionary ideals into reality.

Kushwaha extended his warm wishes to the party’s distinguished leader and Bihar’s Chief Minister, Nitish Kumar, along with the National President of the Party, Rajeev Ranjan, alias Lalan Singh. He also acknowledged the contributions of numerous state functionaries and the extensive network of party workers across the nation.

“We take pride in the fact that our party not only advocates for social justice but actively works to implement it at the grassroots level. It is the vision of our leader, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, that has restored Bihar’s lost glory, propelling the state toward continuous development under his steadfast leadership,” Kushwaha emphasized.

The celebration was attended by several former ministers of the Bihar government, including Jai Kumar Singh, Rana Randhir Singh Chauhan, and MLA Jitendra Kumar. Key party figures such as Arun Kumar Singh, Chandan Kumar Singh, Sunil Kumar Sushil, State Spokesperson Himraj Ram, Vidyanand Vikal, Rajiv Ranjan Patel, Rahul Khandelwal, Rajiv Ranjan Patel, Santosh Kumar, Nitish Patel, Anand Mohan, Chandrika Singh Dangi, Mukesh Kumar, Asif, and a multitude of dedicated party workers also graced the occasion with their presence.
