JD(U) Nominates Sanjay Jha for Rajya Sabha
Patna: The Janata Dal (United) has chosen its national general secretary and former state cabinet member, Sanjay Kumar Jha, as its nominee for the coveted Rajya Sabha seat. Jha is slated to file his nomination on Wednesday, marking a significant milestone in his political career.
Expressing his gratitude for the nomination, Sanjay Jha took to social media to convey his appreciation to Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and the JD(U) leadership. “Today is a very special day, a humbling one! It is a great honor to have been nominated for the Rajya Sabha by Honorable CM Shri @NitishKumar Ji. I am overwhelmed and forever in gratitude,” Jha expressed on his social media platform. He extended his thanks to the JD(U) party, its leaders, and millions of supporters for their unwavering faith and support.
Acknowledging the weight of the responsibility bestowed upon him, Jha articulated his commitment to representing Bihar and its people diligently in the upper house of the Indian Parliament. “While happy, I also understand the big responsibility that comes with this prestigious task of being the voice of #Bihar and our people in the upper house of the #Parliament of India,” he stated, emphasizing the importance of upholding Nitish Kumar’s principles and governance ethos.
