Patna: A 25-year-old juice seller was shot dead in broad daylight on Tuesday afternoon in the Thakurbari area of Masaurhi, Patna. The incident took place inside the premises of Shri Ram Janaki Temple, where the victim, Rajesh Chaudhary, was selling sherbet on his cart. He was shot in the back of the head by one of the three men who had stopped by to drink sherbet.

The attackers fled the scene while firing in the air, creating panic in the area.
Police arrived shortly after being informed and took the body into custody. The area was sealed, and a search operation was launched. SDPO Nabh Vaibhav said that CCTV footage is being reviewed, and a dog squad along with forensic experts have been called from Patna to help with the investigation.
Sources revealed that the suspects might be repeat offenders and are currently out on bail.
