Kaimur: Prashant Kishor Slams Nepotism in RJD, Compares Tejashwi to Abhishek Bachchan
Kaimur: Prashant Kishor, convenor of the Jan Suraj campaign, took a swipe at the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) on Tuesday during his tour in Kaimur, criticizing the nepotism prevalent within the party. He drew a comparison between Bollywood actors Shah Rukh Khan and Abhishek Bachchan to underscore his point.
Kishor highlighted that Shah Rukh Khan began his career by working in TV serials such as Fauji and Circus, eventually carving out a successful path through sheer hard work and dedication. “When Shah Rukh Khan started, he did not have the privilege that someone like Abhishek Bachchan had,” Kishor remarked. “He took on whatever roles came his way and built his reputation based on his talent and perseverance. In contrast, Abhishek Bachchan’s primary identity remains that he is Amitabh Bachchan’s son.”
Kishor then likened this to the situation in Bihar politics, asserting that Tejashwi Yadav’s identity is similarly tied to being the son of Lalu Prasad Yadav. “Tejashwi doesn’t even know the difference between GDP and GDP growth rate, and it is Bihar’s misfortune that in the land of knowledge and Buddha, we have ended up making uneducated and unscrupulous individuals our leaders,” Kishor said. He went on to draw a parallel to his own journey, claiming that just as Shah Rukh Khan forged his own identity in Bollywood, he has established his own identity in the political arena. “Our path is not straightforward,” he added.
During a public interaction in Ramgarh, Kaimur district, Kishor reflected on the political landscape, stating, “We have seen Lalu Yadav, Nitish Kumar, and Modi Ji achieve victories in Delhi, but the lives of Bihar’s children remain unchanged.”
