Lalu Prasad Predicts Tejashwi-Led Government in Bihar Elections

Motihari/ Patna: RJD chief Lalu Prasad has asserted that the party will return to power in Bihar under the leadership of Tejashwi Prasad Yadav in the 2025 assembly elections. Addressing a gathering in Jamuniya, the native village of Kalyanpur RJD MLA Manoj Yadav in Motihari, Lalu called for public support for his son, emphasizing women’s empowerment and promising new welfare schemes.
“The people of Bihar will usher in a new beginning under Tejashwi’s leadership” Lalu said. He announced that if RJD forms the government, Manoj Yadav would be made a minister.
Lalu underlined his commitment to women’s empowerment, stating that initiatives like the ‘Mai Behan Yojana’ would be introduced to enhance self-reliance among women. He also stressed the need for a government that prioritizes youth, farmers, and women, urging the public to “remove the anti-people government.”
The event saw the participation of RJD MLAs, former legislators, and party workers, who raised slogans in support of the party. Lalu garlanded the statue of Yamuna Yadav, reminding the audience that he had inaugurated it in 2014.
Reaffirming Tejashwi’s leadership, Lalu called on party workers to unite for the upcoming elections, stating that the time had come for Bihar to chart a new course under RJD’s leadership.
