Land Acquisition Begins in Fatuha for Multi-Modal Logistics Park
Patna: The acquisition of 105 acres of land has commenced in Fatuha for the development of a Multi-Modal Logistics Park. A camp will be held at Jaitia Panchayat from October 26 to 30 to accept applications from farmers. District Magistrate Dr. Chandrashekhar Singh has instructed the District Land Acquisition Officer to facilitate these applications in Jaitia Panchayat on the specified dates.
To ensure widespread awareness, the Fatuha Circle Officer has been tasked with publicizing the camp details among farmers. During the camp, necessary documents like rent receipts, land ownership certificates, family lists, consent or no-objection letters, and partition deeds will be provided by officials on-site, reducing the need for farmers to visit government offices for these records.
So far, compensation has been paid for approximately 6 acres of the targeted land, covering 28 raiyati farmers out of the 273 total landholders in the Jaitia Mauja area. Camps are now being set up to process compensation for the remaining farmers.
To expedite the payment process, the District Magistrate has directed the Land Reforms Sub-Divisional Magistrate to resolve any disputes among raiyats. In collaboration with local leaders, including the mukhiya and sarpanch, efforts will be made to address conflicts promptly, allowing farmers to receive compensation directly into their bank accounts.
