Mahavir Vatsalya Hospital Honors Doctors on Special Day
Patna: Mahavir Vatsalya Hospital, Patna celebrated Doctors’ Day on Monday with a program organized by Rotary Patliputra, honoring the contributions of doctors and chartered accountants.
Bipin Chauhan, the new District Governor of Rotary Club Bihar-Jharkhand, served as the chief guest and emphasized the vital role doctors play in society, their shared commitment to service with the Rotary Club, and the significance of Doctors’ Day coinciding with the start of the Rotary Club’s new session.
Pradeep Jain of Mahavir Mandir Management highlighted the hospital’s dedication to philanthropy, while Rotary Patliputra President Swati Modi acknowledged doctors as representatives of God on Earth.
Dr. Rajeev Ranjan Prasad, Executive Director of Mahavir Vatsalya Hospital, spoke about the historical significance of doctors, referencing their mention in the Vedas, and noted that Doctors’ Day commemorates the birth anniversary of Dr. Bidhan Chandra Roy, a prominent figure from Patna.
