Manjhi Meeting: CPI (ML) Legislator Affirm Support, Hail Manjhi as Guardian

Gaya: Former chief minister Jitan Ram Manjhi has once again captured the spotlight following a meeting with CPI (ML) Balrampur (Katihar) legislator Mehboob Alam and Hindustani Awaam Morcha – Secular (HAM-S) national president Santosh Kumar Suman in Gaya on Saturday.
The significance of the gathering reverberates in political circles as the newly formed NDA (National Democratic Alliance) government prepares for a trust vote on Monday. Manjhi, leading the HAM-S party with four MLAs, is a constituent of the NDA, while Suman holds the position of SC & ST Welfare Minister.
In a statement, HAM-S national spokesman Nandlal Manjhi clarified, “Undoubtedly, Manjhi Ji stands with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The opposition’s attempts to sow confusion through false statements are futile. The speculated ‘game’ is concluded, paving the way for discussions centered solely on Bihar’s development.”
Following the meeting, Mehboob Alam remarked, “Manjhi Ji is akin to our guardian. Our visit was solely to inquire about his well-being, amidst rumors of his unwell state, and nothing more.”
The gathering not only underscores Manjhi’s continued influence in Bihar’s political landscape but also hints at the shifting dynamics within the NDA coalition as the government braces for a crucial test of confidence.
