Bihar Government Announces District-Level Training for Women Teachers Starting January

PATNA – Gandhi Maidan in the capital city of Patna witnessed a joyous occasion on Thursday as appointment letters were distributed to 1.20 lakh teachers, marking a significant step in Bihar’s education sector. Buoyed by this success, the Bihar Government is gearing up for an extensive recruitment drive in the Health Department, targeting approximately 1.50 lakh positions within the next six months.

Health Department’s Ambitious Plans:

State Deputy Chief Minister and Health Minister Tejashwi Yadav recently declared a substantial expansion in job opportunities within the Health Department, emphasizing the creation of over 1.5 lakh positions. The announcement reflects the government’s commitment to bolstering healthcare services in the state.

Ongoing Recruitment Process:

Following the Deputy Chief Minister’s announcement, the Health Department has promptly initiated the recruitment process. Requisitions for appointments to 4568 posts have already been submitted to the Technical Service Commission.

Diverse Positions to be Filled:

The positions for which requisitions have been sent include 1539 Pharmacist roles, 1098 Operations Assistant positions, 803 Xray Technician roles, 163 ECG Technician positions, and 967 Clerk roles across various Medical College Hospitals. Additionally, the reinstatement of counselors on 579 posts is also part of the ambitious hiring initiative.

NHM Advertisement and Achievements:

The Health Department had previously advertised 9698 posts under the National Health Mission (NHM) in the year 2020-21. Remarkably, 9322 health workers have already been selected.
