Massive Manhunt Underway: Rs 38 Lakh Robbery Triggers Police Raids in Muzaffarpur, FIR registered
MUZAFFARPUR – An FIR has been filed in connection with the robbery of Rs 38 lakh from a finance company’s office in Shahbazpur, located in the Ahiyapur police station area of Muzaffarpur district, Bihar. The FIR, based on the application of Manager Rupak Kumar, is against unknown criminals.
Three teams, led by ASP Town Awadhesh Dixit, Ahiyapur Police Station, and DIU, have been formed by the police to arrest the criminals. Raids are underway in several nearby districts, including Muzaffarpur, to nab the culprits. Over a dozen CCTVs in the area have been reviewed, leading to the identification of some suspects.
The location of the mobile phones, which were snatched from several employees during the robbery, is also being investigated. Raids are being conducted based on the tower location of the stolen mobile phones. The last known location of the looted mobile phones was between Kanti and Mehsi, with the phones being switched off after reaching Chakia. The police have received information about a suspect heading towards Sitamarhi, leading to ongoing raids in that area.
Following the robbery, the police meticulously examined CCTV footage from over a dozen locations in the vicinity, identifying suspicious activities. This led to the detention of several suspects, who are currently undergoing interrogation at undisclosed locations. Additionally, raids have been conducted in various lodges in the area.
ASP Town Awadhesh Dixit stated that an FIR has been registered based on Branch Manager Rupak Kumar’s application. The CCTV footage from the area is under scrutiny, and raids are ongoing to apprehend the criminals. Interrogations of the detained suspects are also in progress.
