Minor Girl Dies in Patna After Alleged Sexual Encounter

Patna: A tragic incident in Patna, Bihar, has led to the death of a minor girl following an alleged sexual encounter with a teenage boy. The girl, reportedly from Jehanabad, began bleeding during the act and subsequently died after being admitted to a hospital.

The incident occurred on Friday in the Jakkanpur police station area. Police were alerted on Saturday and have since taken both the boy and a friend, in whose room the encounter allegedly took place, into custody for questioning.

According to initial reports, the girl and the boy, who is also a minor, met approximately ten days ago at Jehanabad railway station. The boy reportedly called the girl to Patna on Friday, taking her to his friend’s residence in the Karbighiya area. It was there that the sexual encounter allegedly occurred, leading to the girl experiencing severe bleeding.

Frightened by her deteriorating condition, the boy reportedly took her to a private hospital. Due to her critical state, she was then referred to PMCH (Patna Medical College and Hospital), where doctors pronounced her dead upon arrival.

Manish Kumar, the officer-in-charge SHO of Jakkanpur, stated that a case would be registered and appropriate action taken once a formal statement is received. Both boys remain in custody as investigations continue.

The girl’s grandfather informed authorities that she had studied up to the fifth standard before discontinuing her schooling. Her father works as a carpenter. The family stated she had left home, telling them she was going to Jehanabad to visit her father. They expressed unawareness of how she came to be in Patna and stated they did not know the boy taken into custody by the police. The grandfather learned of his granddaughter’s death upon reaching Patna after receiving the distressing news.
