Aurangabad (Bihar): In a shocking case of alleged revenge, a minor boy’s genitals were severed and his 20-year-old friend was stabbed in a village under the Dev police station limits in Aurangabad district on Sunday. The two were allegedly lured to a house on the pretext of booking a vehicle, where the brutal assault took place.

According to police, the attack was reportedly carried out in retaliation for an alleged obscene act by the minor with the sister-in-law of one of the accused. The woman had been staying at her brother-in-law’s residence in the village for the past two months.

Following the incident, the injured minor and his friend were first taken to a local health facility and later referred to Patna for advanced treatment. Both remain hospitalised.

Dev Police Station in-charge Kumar Saurabh confirmed that FIRs have been registered by both parties involved. The complaint filed on behalf of the minor names eight accused from the same village, while the opposing party has also lodged a cross FIR. All accused are reportedly absconding, and police have launched a search operation.

As per initial reports, the minor and his 20-year-old friend were called to the house of the accused on the pretext of arranging a vehicle booking. Once inside, the door was locked from within. It is alleged that the minor was subjected to a brutal assault during which his genitals were severed. His friend, who tried to intervene, was stabbed and seriously injured.

Upon learning of the attack, family members of the victims reached the scene, leading to a violent clash between the two groups. Two additional individuals sustained injuries during the altercation.

The sister-in-law at the center of the incident had allegedly complained to her brother-in-law a week ago about the minor and his friend forcibly entering the house and misbehaving with her. This purported incident is believed to have triggered the retaliatory assault.

Police have begun an investigation and said further action will be taken based on the medical reports and witness statements.
