Moti Lal Prasad Takes Charge as Bihar’s Minister for Arts, Culture and Youth

Patna: Moti Lal Prasad officially assumed office as Bihar’s Minister for Arts, Culture and Youth today. Departmental officials extended a warm welcome to the new minister, with Pranav Kumar, Secretary of the Department, presenting him with a bouquet and briefing him on the department’s key initiatives, achievements, and future plans.
After taking charge, Prasad held an important meeting with senior officials to review the department’s ongoing projects and long-term vision. He emphasised the need for effective implementation of cultural and youth-centric schemes at the grassroots level to ensure tangible impact.
Stressing the importance of preserving Bihar’s rich cultural heritage, the minister urged officials to work diligently and formulate new plans for the holistic development of the state’s arts and culture sector. He also called for maintaining efficiency and speed in executing departmental initiatives.
The meeting was attended by senior officials, including Rachna Patil, Director of Archaeology, Museum and Culture; Deputy Secretary Anil Kumar Sinha; and Administrative Officer of Bharatiya Nritya Kala Mandir, Kahkashan, along with other officers and staff members.
