Nalanda University Hosts International Seminar on World Literature Perspectives
Patna: The School of Languages and Literature/Humanities at Nalanda University (NU) is set to orchestrate a significant intellectual gathering with an International Seminar on “Indic and Southeast Asian Perspectives in Conceptualising World Literature,” scheduled for November 17 and 18. With approximately 30 scholarly papers slated for presentation, the event promises insights from esteemed scholars hailing from India and abroad.
Headlining the distinguished list of participants is Padma Bhushan Awardee Professor Kapil Kapoor, whose contributions to academia have garnered international acclaim. Joining him are renowned academicians such as Professor Ravinder Singh from Delhi University, Professor Rajnish Kumar Mishra from Jawaharlal Nehru University, and Dr. Priyanka Tripathi from IIT Patna.
As per a statement issued by NU on Wednesday, the seminar is poised to be a melting pot of diverse perspectives, fostering a global dialogue on the nuanced conceptualization of world literature. Research scholars from NU will also be on the forefront, presenting their latest research contributions, adding a dynamic layer to the intellectual exchange.
