NDA Leaders Rally Workers in Kishanganj and Araria, Set Target of 225 Seats in Bihar Polls
Araria: The NDA Joint Workers’ Meet reached Kishanganj and Araria on Thursday, marking the third phase of the series. The meet began in Kishanganj, where enthusiastic NDA workers gathered in large numbers. State presidents of all five NDA constituent parties motivated the workers and called for a united effort to achieve victory in the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections. They pledged to win over 225 seats in the state.
Addressing the gathering at Khagra’s Shaheed Ashfaqullah Khan Stadium in Kishanganj and Araria College Stadium, BJP state president and Bihar’s Revenue and Land Reforms Minister Dr. Dilip Jaiswal stated that the upcoming elections would be a contest of development and good governance. He urged workers to campaign actively, spread awareness about the government’s achievements, and mobilize voters.
Dr. Jaiswal called on workers to take an oath not only to secure victory but also to uproot the opposition. He stressed that NDA governments are formed for public service and will continue to do so.
Other NDA leaders also addressed the gathering, with JD (U) state president Umesh Singh Kushwaha highlighting that the unity of NDA workers was strengthening the alliance, while the opposition remained fractured. He criticized the Mahagathbandhan, stating that their primary concern was securing power for their family rather than focusing on Bihar’s development.
LJP (Ram Vilas) state president Raju Tiwari accused the RJD of misleading the public with false propaganda and unrealistic promises. He stated that RJD’s leaders were making baseless declarations, knowing well that they had no chance of forming a government.
HAM (S) state president Anil Singh claimed that Bihar’s people were happy with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s leadership, citing recent election results as proof of NDA’s popularity. RLM state president Madan Chaudhary asserted that the people of Bihar would never allow the Mahagathbandhan to return to power, calling RJD a party synonymous with corruption and crime.
The conference saw massive participation from NDA workers, who pledged to ensure victory in the upcoming elections. Leaders encouraged them to intensify their efforts at the grassroots level, reinforcing NDA’s commitment to governance and development in Bihar.
