Bihar: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the results of NEET UG 2025, the highly competitive entrance examination for medical aspirants across India. While candidates from Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra claimed the top national ranks, Bihar failed to make it to the top 100 list this year.
Muskan Anand emerged as the top scorer from Bihar with an All India Rank (AIR) of 112. Despite her strong performance, she narrowly missed a spot among the national toppers. Over 1.60 lakh students from Bihar appeared for the exam.
The national merit list was led by Mahesh Kumar of Rajasthan (AIR 1), followed by Utkarsh Avadhiya from Madhya Pradesh (AIR 2) and Krishang Joshi of Maharashtra (AIR 3). Delhi’s Mrinal Kishore Jha (AIR 4) and Avika Agarwal (AIR 5), who also became the female national topper, rounded off the top five.
Candidates can download their scorecards from the official NEET website neet.nta.nic.in.
This year, approximately 1.08 lakh MBBS seats will be allocated through NEET UG scores—56,000 in government institutions and 52,000 in private colleges. NEET scores are also used for admission to allied medical programmes such as BDS, Ayurveda, Unani, and Siddha.
