NIFT Patna to Celebrate Fashion Graduates in Grand Convocation

Patna: The National Institute of Fashion Technology, Patna, will host its Convocation Ceremony for the Class of 2024 on September 28, 2024, at 1 PM at the CIMP Auditorium. A total of 213 students from five undergraduate and one postgraduate department will mark the completion of their academic journey during this significant event. The Union Minister of Textiles, Government of India, Giriraj Singh, will be the Chief Guest, with Tanu Kashyap, Director General of NIFT, acting as the Chief Host for the occasion.
The event will also feature guests including Nitish Mishra, Minister of Industries & Tourism, Government of Bihar, and Ravishankar Prasad, Member of Parliament. Fashion designer and NIFT alumnus Manish Tripathi has been invited as the special guest. Students from five government schools in Patna will be present to welcome the dignitaries.
The ceremony will include the presentation of eight gold medals for outstanding achievements, such as the Meritorious Student Award for each department, Student of the Year, and Academic Excellence with Community Service. Col. Rahul Sharma, Director of NIFT Patna, will present the institute’s annual performance report, showcasing the accomplishments of the academic year 2023-2024.
