Nitish Kumar Sworn In as Bihar Chief Minister; BJP Veterans Samrat Chaudhary and Vijay Kumar Sinha Take Deputy CM Oath

Patna, 28th January 2024: Nitish Kumar was sworn in as the Chief Minister of Bihar for the ninth time today. The ceremony also saw the induction of two seasoned BJP leaders, Samrat Chaudhary and Vijay Kumar Sinha, who took the oath as Deputy Chief Ministers. This development follows the dissolution of the Grand Alliance government earlier in the day. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar submitted his resignation to the Governor, citing the increasing challenges in sustaining the Grand Alliance.
