Patna: Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is set to visit Kesaria in Bihar’s Motihari district on December 24 as part of his ongoing Pragati Yatra, which begins on December 23. He will visit two locations in the district: Uttari Sugaav in Sugauli block and West Sundarapur in Kesaria block. Preparations for his visit are in full swing, with officials focusing on ensuring all arrangements are completed on time.

Initially, the visit was planned for Uttari Sugaav, but the location shifted to Sundarapur in Kesaria block. Since this change, officials, including the in-charge DM and SP, have been camping in Sundarapur and holding marathon meetings to finalize the program and delegate responsibilities to various departments.

During his visit to Kesaria, Nitish Kumar will inaugurate the newly constructed school building and sports court. JDU MLA Shalini Mishra shared that the Chief Minister is also expected to inspect the Amrit Sarovar located within the school premises and the newly built MNREGA park nearby. Additionally, he will visit 14 departmental stalls set up for the event and lay foundation stones or inaugurate various district development schemes.

Officials are working under tight deadlines to prepare for the visit, with different departments assigned specific tasks to ensure everything is completed efficiently. The district administration and local authorities are making all efforts to showcase the developmental initiatives in the area and make the event a success.
