Patna: The Parents’ Teacher Association (PTA) of Notre Dame Academy (NDA), Patna, hosted a special “Sarthak Diwali” celebration, uniting Class 3 students of NDA and Jully School in a collaborative and festive event.
The students of Notre Dame Academy participated in decorating earthen diyas, showcasing their creativity through vibrant colours, unique styles, and various shapes. These beautifully crafted diyas, along with Diwali greeting cards, were wrapped in polyfilm under the guidance of their class teachers and PTA members. The activity took place in classrooms, fostering teamwork and artistic expression among the students.
In a heartwarming gesture, the NDA students presented the decorated diyas to the students of Jully School, sharing Diwali wishes and celebrating the festival together. The event symbolized unity and inclusivity, creating a sense of social harmony between the two schools.
The purpose of the “Sarthak Diwali” event was to encourage creativity while promoting values of togetherness and meaningful celebration. Through this initiative, the students conveyed a powerful social message, making this Diwali truly “Sarthak” (meaningful).
Sister Mary Hema, SND, expressed her gratitude to the students, teachers, and PTA members for their dedication in making the event a success. For more information, Gaurav Kumar, Vice President of the PTA, can be contacted at 9708097234.
